About the winery
«Attachment to tradition without giving up progress» read the first bottles of El Mocanero in the late 1980s. It was the start of a project rooted in the land and in the century-old vines that covered our landscape and inspired our wines. The winery is the result of the determination and enthusiasm of José Miguel Díaz Torres, who ended up bringing his family on board this exciting adventure of growing grapes and making wine in an area with deep winegrowing roots such as Tacoronte-Acentejo.
