About the winery
Bodega Entrevidas is the wine side of Herencia y Esencia, the project of siblings Ana, Juan and María Ruiz Ortega in Rueda, Valladolid. It is a family winery with a small estate plot: Juan looks after the vines, Ana makes the wines and runs the experiences, and María coordinates the projects, which also include a chocolate factory and an organic almond orchard. Their wines carry the I.G.P. Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León: Reguilón is a barrel-aged Tempranillo, Vida 1883 a red from six estate varieties made only in special vintages, and Vida Día and Vida Noche are a young organic Verdejo and red. At the winery they hold seasonal tastings, workshops and sunset picnics among the vines.
