About the winery
Explotaciones Hermanos Delgado is a family winery in Socuéllamos, in the centre of La Mancha, located on the Finca Macatela estate near the border with Albacete. It works with its own organic vineyards and, as well as organic varietal wines both bottled and in bulk, it produces vinegars and balsamics, grape seed oil, and organic fertiliser and animal feed, making use of everything the grape provides. A large share of its production is sold outside Spain. It keeps an old cave where the barrels rest and a small ethnological museum. It is part of the La Mancha Wine Route and runs guided tours for groups covering winemaking, organic farming, the cave and the museum, with a guided tasting of its wines paired with food.
