About the winery
As early as 1936, our grandfathers Luis Gil and José Luis Berzal were carefully and lovingly making high-quality wines that we still treasure. The passion for wine and the land is passed down from parents to children, and so it was with José Luis Gil and Gloria Berzal, both children of winegrowers, who inherited that love and met among the vineyards. Years later they married and created Bodega Gil Berzal. Their sons Saúl and Benjamín were born and grew up surrounded by vineyards, wine presses and barrels, which forged their character and enthusiasm for the vine.
