About the winery
Henri Demissy Cartelet was a French winemaker born in Épernay in 1887. He built his professional and family life in Blanes (Girona). His work in the cava sector makes him a key figure and a pioneer in producing the first cava in Catalunya. The Demissy line has died out, but they left a valuable legacy on which the development of this product and its industry has been built to this day. This cava was created in homage to the great Demissy.
