About the winery
Around 1982, Manuel Hidalgo Fernández began making a small amount of wine for home use, which, as it grew, was registered as an artisan winery. That was the beginning; over time, as there was not enough room, it became necessary to find a place to build a new winery. Around 1997, Bienvenida was chosen, where a one-hectare plot was bought in the «Comarca Matanegra» wine area.
