About the winery
The Real de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria was founded on St John's Day (24 June) 1472, and from there the conquest of Gran Canaria by the Crown of Castile continued. The two easternmost islands of the Canary archipelago had already been conquered a few years earlier, and the four western ones were conquered a few years later.
