About the winery
A friendship of many years among Basques leads to gatherings around a good table to eat and drink. In our case, Friday dinner became a tradition, at different restaurants in the area or at our gastronomic society in Zarautz. Karlos Arguiñano had a small plantation at his farmhouse that each year gave a few grapes, and a homemade wine was made at a nearby txakoli winery in Zarautz. This wine was not sold and was drunk among friends and family.
