About the winery
La Baldesa is a family winery in the north of Tenerife, within the Tacoronte-Acentejo D.O., around the Salto del Gato area. The family has been growing grapes and making wine since 1959 and still does so with traditional methods and a little technology. Their focus is young wines, conceived as a reflection of the landscape and of daily work on the land where they grew up. The visit is a walk through the vineyards in which they explain the local winegrowing tradition, always ending with a tasting of their wines and a relaxed chat among friends.
