About the winery
Lagar de Casablanca is a traditional winery in Moriles, in the Montilla-Moriles D.O., located in the Moriles Altos area, beside the road to Aguilar de la Frontera. It is run by Juan Villa Pérez, who makes and bottles the wine at the lagar itself. Everything they produce comes from Pedro Ximénez grapes from their best harvests in the high vineyards of Moriles, and the wines are aged in oak under a veil of flor, the biological ageing typical of the area. Their labels include Fino Flor and Yema de Tinaja, two classic-style wines for anyone looking for the traditional taste of Moriles.
