Bodega Los Berrazales
About the winery
Bodega Los Berrazales is part of Finca La Laja, in the Agaete Valley in north-west Gran Canaria, within the D.O. Gran Canaria area. It is a family legacy in which hand farming has been passed down from generation to generation, and the estate combines vines with coffee plantations, tropical fruit trees and orange trees, something rarely seen in Europe. Its wine bottles feature a design by the Canarian artist Pepe Dámaso. Besides wine, the estate produces coffee, tropical fruit and citrus. The guided visit includes a walk through the estate among vines, coffee plants and citrus trees, continues in the winery, where winemaking is explained, and ends with a tasting of the estate's products, which can also be bought on site.
