About the winery
The son of a winegrower and winemaker, Celestino Hernández created his own family winery in the 1980s and began selling his wines in the late 1990s. The Los Lomos winery has a production capacity of around 25,000 litres, mostly Los Lomos Tinto and Los Lomos Tinto Selección, young wines typical of the Southern Zone with good colour and high alcohol, and some white. 80% of the grapes come from its own harvest. “Tino” has now taken early retirement and merely advises his wife, Doña Carmen Rosa Barbuzano Chávez, who runs the winery.
