About the winery
No me acuerdo is a winery in Rozas de Puerto Real, a small village at the foot of the Sierra de Gredos, on the pass between the Alberche and Tiétar valleys, within the D.O. Vinos de Madrid. Its focus is Garnacha, grown organically in old vineyards spread over small plots, in an area with centuries of winegrowing tradition. From them comes Perdón, a delicate, smooth red with hints of cherry, strawberry and raspberry. The setting adds to it: the largest chestnut grove in the Community of Madrid is close by. On weekends from October to May they hold tastings with nibbles, in which a guide shows you round the winery, explains the winemaking and barrel ageing and ends with a tasting of several Garnachas. In summer there is live music, and the venue also hosts events.
