Bodega Rincón de Liria
About the winery
Rincón de Liria is a family winery in Hermigua, in the north of La Gomera, covered by the D.O. La Gomera. Several generations of the family have made wine: it began with the great-grandfather and continued with the grandfather, who sold it in a well-known village shop. In 2012 the winery joined the La Gomera Designation of Origin. Its vines are grown on small terraces on steep slopes, combining modern and traditional techniques, and production is limited. It makes one red wine, Rincón de Liria, from listán negro: dark cherry red with violet rims, with floral and grassy aromas, light on the palate with fresh acidity. The official Canary Islands tourism guide lists it among the red wines of Hermigua.
