About the winery
Son Juliana is a boutique winery in Santa Eugènia, in the centre of Mallorca, and a member of the Mallorca vino de la tierra. Since 2013 it has grown nine varieties on seven hectares of terra rossa, the reddish clay soil typical of the island: Prensal, Moscatel, Chardonnay, Giró Ros, Manto Negro, Callet, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. From them it makes seven hand-harvested organic wines, such as a barrel-aged Chardonnay, a white Manto Negro, a Syrah and its numbered cuvées, and it also produces organic extra virgin olive oil from Arbequina and Picual. It runs on solar and wind power. Visitors can have a glass in its tasting room or on the terrace, try a mini tasting of all its wines and the oil, or book a guided tasting at their own table.
