About the winery
In early 2016 the «Bodega Son Mayol» was completed and opened in the Serra de Tramuntana; it is described by the Spanish architect Javier Campos as a harmonic oscillation, and here we find state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly technology. Following the principle of gravity, the grapes fall into the fermentation vats and then into the barrels without the use of pumps. This results in winemaking in three stages in which the work processes take place in descending order.
