Bodega Vía Romana

About the winery

Adegas e Viñedos Vía Romana was born in 1997 in the D.O. Ribeira Sacra (Galicia), in the Chantada sub-zone. The winery is located in a 16th-century manor house and owes its name to a Roman road that linked Astorga with Braga and whose purpose was to transport the exceptional wines of this area. A highlight is seeing at its feet the vineyard, which overcomes a difficult but privileged terrain on the banks of the Miño.
