About the winery
Bodega Viña Herzas is located one kilometre from the centre of Arafo, at the foot of the mountain, in the Morra Tanque area, at an altitude of about 700 metres. Miguel Ángel founded the winery in 1996 on an estate he acquired in 1990, land that he cleared and transformed into what all the residents of Arafo now know as the «Finca del Médico» (the Doctor's Estate). The estate covers approximately 5,500 square metres, all planted with trellised vines.
