Bodegas Alodia

About the winery

Bodegas Alodia was born in 2005 as the personal project of its oenologist, Sergio Labata. Sergio trained first as an agricultural engineer and then as an oenologist. After working at several wineries in the Somontano and a short stay at the Australian winery HopeState Wines in New South Wales, he set up his own winery. Since its beginnings, Bodegas Alodia has stood out among the wineries of the denomination for making wines unique in the world and for using innovative techniques such as wines without added sulphites or sparkling wines (champenoise method).
