About the winery
Antonio Álvarez Álvarez, the eldest of five siblings, is the son, grandson and great-grandson of grape growers. The tradition of tending vineyards is so old in the family that no one knows when it began. Knowledge and know-how have been passed down from generation to generation, but in Antonio's case the learning came early, because when his father died when he was only 10, he had to take charge of all the work in the fields, the winery and even the family bar.
