About the winery
Bodegas Augusta Bilbilis is located in the small village of Mara, in the Comunidad de Calatayud district, province of Zaragoza. With a production of some 30,000 kilos a year, it uses gravity to move the grapes and wine. It also controls the temperature naturally, which ranges all year between 14 and 17 degrees, as part of the winery is underground, with the resulting energy savings. Only pressurised water at different temperatures is used to clean the facilities, avoiding the use of detergents at all times.
