Founded in 1821 in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Bodegas Barbadillo upholds a centuries-old tradition as a 100% family-owned winery producing under the designations Jerez-Xérès-Sherry, Brandy de Jerez, Vinagre de Jerez, the Cádiz vino de la tierra and D.O. Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda, which it leads with a share of stocks above 50%. Bodegas Barbadillo currently owns Bodega Pirineos, in the D.O. Somontano, and Bodegas y Viñedos Vega Real, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero.
