Bodegas Butxet

About the winery

Butxet is a Mallorcan family winery located in the municipality of Muro, on the road to Can Picafort, within the Pla i Llevant D.O. area. Its story begins in 2003, when Llorenç Perelló planted his first vineyard with the idea of making wines that speak of his land, and since then the family has grown the project vine by vine. In their reds they combine the native Callet with other grapes: Macada includes Mantonegro and Merlot, Butxet relies on Cabernet Sauvignon, Singló on Syrah and Son Claret on Merlot, and they round off the range with whites and rosés. They welcome visitors on the estate, where they tell the story of their varieties, show the vineyard and finish with a tasting.
