About the winery
The family legacy of Bodegas Castaño. Ramón Castaño Santa, founder of Bodegas Castaño, began making his first bulk wines in 1950. A pioneer in the use of the Monastrell grape, he expanded the family estate by buying new properties. With the gradual arrival of his three sons, Ramón, Juan Pedro and Daniel Castaño, came innovation, opening the doors to the international market.
