About the winery
Castell Miquel was originally created for viticulture. Legend has it that an angel appeared to a Majorcan farmer and advised him to plant a vine on this very spot. The farmer heeded him and the vines became the best on the island, or so the legend goes. However, more and more competitors kept appearing. Within a short time, Castell Miquel became one of the many wineries on the island.
