About the winery
In the early years of the 20th century, the family of D. Juan Contreras Corbalán founded a small winery in the Lorca district of Avilés, in the province of Murcia. Its wines soon began to gain renown, and after the Civil War they built a large winery, the one we now call the old winery, capable of producing one million litres.
