About the winery
Army Major Don Rafael Cruz Conde founded «Bodegas Cruz Conde» in 1902 to make, age and sell the finest wines of the Montilla-Moriles area: fortified wines, whites, Pedro Ximénez and brandies. The intense winemaking activity led to the creation of one of the most important wineries in the area, with extensive infrastructure. The success of the business made it possible to build an underground cellar consisting of 6 vaulted halls and as many more of exceptional architecture.
