About the winery
The year is 1886 and a young married couple decide to plant a small vineyard on the slopes of Mount Yerga, unaware of the importance that decision would have for the following generations. More than a hundred years later, that vineyard has grown into the 100 hectares where today Bodegas D. Mateos designs emotions through its wines, leaving a unique mark. A winery with so much history that its walls whisper every night the tales that grandmothers told their grandchildren to help them fall asleep.
