Bodegas Decorus
About the winery
Bodegas Decorus is a project based in Lerma, in the D.O. Arlanza, started by two childhood friends, Fernando Santamaría del Hoyo and Luis Rodríguez Amayuelas, with the aim of reviving the winegrowing potential of their villages and halting rural abandonment. They farm old vines, between 70 and 120 years old, organically and with micro-vinifications, spread across Santa Inés, Villalmanzo, Lerma, Covarrubias, Castrillo de Solarana and Quintanilla del Agua. Their range includes Decorus Blanco, Decorus Rosé, the red Valdura, Mabel, Srta Garnacha and Bésame el Trasiego. They host tastings in the Santa Inés vineyard, a few minutes from Lerma, with a walk among old vines and traditional wineries and a tasting of two, three or four wines with snacks.
