About the winery
Bodegas Elías González is a family winery in Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Cádiz), within the Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda D.O., which for three generations has harvested its own vineyards and aged Manzanilla Elías. Its motto is to take wine from the solera to the consumer. Besides the classic manzanilla, in a Superior version and also en rama, they make Oloroso, Amontillado, Pedro Ximénez and Moscatel, a vermouth, a white aged in American oak and a frizzante, and at their shop they sell wine in bulk. They organise visits by booking: a standard one with winery staff, in Spanish and English, and a private one with the owner, in which you tour the winery, hear its family history and taste four wines with an aperitif.
