Bodegas Galan Portero is a family business located in the town of Montilla, within the Montilla-Moriles protected designation of origin, a renowned wine-growing land. Its origins date back to the mid-20th century. The founders, Don Antonio Galan Lopez and Doña Soledad Portero Urbano, were a married couple from Montilla who worked the land. They had strived to grow, in different parts of the Córdoba countryside, in projects that led them to buy, cultivate and harvest, changing land whenever an opportunity for improvement arose.
