Bodegas Gratias is a family-run craft winery in Casas-Ibáñez, in the D.O. Manchuela. Its story begins in 2007, when a group of winemaker and sommelier friends made two barrels with grapes from the land of Iván Gómez's grandfather, in the Cerro de los Moñigos area. That wine became the first of the house, …gratias máximas, which gave the project its name. They moved from the family garage to other people's wineries before opening their own in 2015. Today it is run by Iván and Ana Gómez with José Armando and Silvia Araque, who handles wine tourism. Their wines come from a plot, a variety or a hunch, with ranges of ancestral, village, soil-driven and clay-jar wines, such as Tinaja, the orange Terra, Soy Caliza and Soy Arena. It offers guided visits with tastings, vineyard walks and pairings.
