Bodegas Lerma has 6 hectares of its own vineyards and controls 24 hectares of century-old vineyards near the winery. The predominant grape variety is Tempranillo, and there are also plantings of Garnacha and Albillo. The winery has modern equipment and a stock of French and American oak barrels used for ageing its crianza and reserva wines. The winemaker at Bodegas Lerma is Oscar Navarro, with extensive experience gained at the Bodegas Arzuaga Navarro Group, where he still practises his profession.
