About the winery
Our lagar, Saavedra, has many years of history behind it, and it is worth mentioning that the land on which it stands belonged to Francisco Xavier Venegas de Saavedra y Rodríguez de Arenzana, Marquis of La Reunión and Nueva España. It later passed through various owners. According to the records, in the late 1940s the lagar had at least three owners.
