About the winery
Marqués de Carrión is the label under which the García Carrión group makes its wines in the D.O.Ca. Rioja. The group has two wineries in the area, one in Labastida, in Rioja Alavesa, and another in Haro, in Rioja Alta, two towns with a long winemaking tradition where the grapes for these wines come from. They work with four red and three white varieties, with Tempranillo at the heart of their reds and Viura in their whites, and apply modern viticultural techniques so that the grapes reach the right ripeness. It is one of the Rioja brands of a large Spanish family group in wine and juices.
