About the winery
With a passion for wine, the project of Michel Vanhoutte and his partners began in 1999, in search of stony land to plant Garnacha Tinta, Syrah and Cariñena, which they finally found in the La Vilella Alta area. In 2004 came the first bunches, selected berry by berry, and after 18 months in oak the first wines were obtained: Els Pics, Artigas, La Basseta and La Creu Alta. All the work has been carried out following the advice of winemakers Michel Tardieu and Philippe Cambie.
