About the winery
Mas Geli is a family vineyard project in the Masos de Pals, right on the Costa Brava and within the DO Empordà, between the Begur and Montgrí massifs. It was started in 2014 by siblings Anna and Lluís, who were very young at the time, with the aim of replanting vines in Pals, where they were grown long ago. Anna, a trained sommelier, is the heart of the winery, while Lluís, a musician, runs the Mas Geli Fest festival. They live next to the vineyard, which they tend like a home garden using organic and regenerative farming, growing native Empordà varieties on sandy, chalky soils with a maritime influence. They offer guided vineyard tours, tastings and food experiences, plus concerts and dinners among the vines in summer.
