About the winery
The Sta. Mª de Nogueira winery is located in the Ribeira de Chantada, on the slopes of the river Miño, in the municipality of Chantada (Lugo). Our winery is a company under the Ribeira Sacra Denominación de Origen, created in 1998. It is a family winery that has operated since the 1960s; in May 2017 it passed into the hands of Pedro Yáñez, who has improved both the winery and the various brands made there and added more than 70 hectares of vineyard.
