Bodegas Obalo was born in 2006 in the heart of the Sierra de Cantabria, the district that divides the so-called Rioja Alavesa in two and which was considered a perfect setting for the unbeatable quality of its vineyards. The privileged location in what could be considered the best wine area in Spain, both for its position sheltered by the Sierra de Cantabria and for its soils, is combined with a constant search for close collaboration with local growers.
