About the winery
Bodegas Pavoni is a family winery dating from 1995, although the family has been devoted to viticulture and winemaking for more than a century. In recent years Bodegas Pavoni has begun bottling and selling its wines. This seventeenth-century winery, located in Lapuebla de Labarca in the area known as las bodegas, was renovated in 1980 and 1991, respecting its old parts. Lapuebla de Labarca, whose winemaking origins are lost in time, lies on the border of Rioja Alavesa, separated from La Rioja by the river Ebro.
