About the winery
Bodegas Petrón was born of the passion for wine of two Galician businessmen involved in other sectors. In love with winemaking, they started with a small winery in O Barco de Valdeorras in their youth, and later, in 2005, set up a winery in the area they considered to produce the best reds in Galicia, the Ribeira Sacra. Now in the hands of the next generation, the winery is becoming professionalised and has been bringing its wines to market since 2015. Its wines belong to the Ribeira Sacra denominación de origen and are classified as Amandi wines.
