About the winery
Between the municipalities of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Santa Brígida and Telde lies Monte Lentiscal, an ancient thermophilic forest owned by the island council, now practically gone owing to massive felling in the past. The economic crisis following the War of Independence led the island council in 1810 to privatise, through public sale, land it owned, such as that of Monte Lentiscal.
