About the winery
The cooperative members had spent nearly half a century doing what they did best: making quality wines. They were the largest wine cooperative in Andalusia and one of the leading ones in Spain, and since 1962 they had had their own Denominación de Origen. But they felt they had to go further, to gain momentum and undertake a necessary modernisation, and that meant creating their own brand. Thus, in 2002, Bodega Privilegio del Condado was born: the tradition of the wines of the Condado de Huelva Denominación de Origen combined with the latest advances in the sector.
