Bodegas Rubicón

◍ Las Palmas

About the winery

The modern history of Bodegas Rubicón begins in 1979 when Don Germán López Figueras, a great wine lover, bought the Cortijo de La Geria, which at that time belonged to the Fajardo family. Don Germán acquired the property mainly for its winery, in order to devote himself to his great passion, winemaking. For decades the winery has been dedicated to artisanal winemaking using the facilities of the old winery: the traditional wooden presses, the stone lagar and the cement tanks for storing the wine.
