Bodegas San José
About the winery
San José Bodegas was created in 1963 by a small group of winegrowers convinced of the need to create a large winery that would make wines to a high standard of quality. Today we have more than 160 members with more than 2,600 ha of the Airén, Tempranillo and Macabeo varieties, 50% irrigated and 50% dry-farmed. The dry-farmed vineyard is bush-trained, while the irrigated one has both trellised and low vines.
