Bodegas Valdovinos

◍ Huesca

About the winery

Bodegas Valdovinos is a fourth-generation family business that joined the Somontano D.O. in 1998. It is located in the municipality of Antillón (Huesca), in the north-east of the Somontano, a valley set between the rivers Alcanadre and Guatizalema, an area with a long wine-growing tradition. Bodegas Valdovinos sources from its own vineyards, more than 50 years old; most of the vineyard is dry-farmed, with yields not exceeding 4,000 kg/ha, and its soils are loose, moderately stony and sandy.
