About the winery
A FAMILY WINERY. Andrés Valiente and his son Rodolfo founded Viñedos y Bodegas Vegalfaro in 1999. The name Vegalfaro comes from a combination of the word «vega», meaning river plain, with the historical name of the winery itself, Casa Alfaro. Since then, Rodolfo Valiente has strived to develop a distinctive and very personal style of wines at Vegalfaro, always based on organic practices and the desire to combine tradition with innovation in the search for the optimal expression of the terroir.
