Bodega Viña Gómez is a family project in Güímar, in the D.O. Valle de Güímar (Tenerife), with a tradition going back five generations. It covers nine hectares and produces between 8,000 and 10,000 bottles a year, depending on the vintage. Its most emblematic plot is Las Dehesas, between 1,300 and 1,400 metres, with 80 to 100-year-old ungrafted, dry-farmed Listán Blanco vines, where winemaker Javier Gómez looks after every detail. In Las Pernadas and El Topo Negro he is recovering native varieties such as Malvasía Rosada, volcanic Malvasía, Marmajuelo and Diego. The range includes 1400m, born in Las Dehesas; the Nubes de Altura line, with a Vidueño and the rosé Ángela; and sweet wines from Listán Blanco and Malvasía Rosada.
