About the winery
We are located at an altitude of 780 metres, in a landscape of vines, almond trees and cherry trees. Most of the vineyard is sheltered by the Sierra de la Virgen, which gives the winery its name. This is a land full of tradition, pride and hard work by its people. The municipality covers more than 10,000 hectares, of which 400 are devoted to vineyards. Contrasting climates shape the growing cycle of the vines. On the way out of the village, at the spot called La Cañadilla, between 800 and 870 metres in altitude, the harvest comes early, and the fruit is redder and very fresh.
