About the winery
Bodegas y Viñedos Laujar, now known by its Cepa Bosquet brand, is located in El Ferrón, Fuente Victoria, in the municipality of Fondón, in the heart of the Almería Alpujarra and within the Laujar-Alpujarra vino de la tierra. The Bosquet family, with three generations of winemaking tradition, has run it since 2007, and all its grapes come from its own vineyards. The family estate makes use of an old shepherds' farmhouse, which houses the press and fermentation room, and two reservoirs built by a mining company in 1960, one of them turned into a barrel room. It makes Chardonnay Barrica, Syrah Barrica, the Tempranillo red Cepa Roble and the organic sparkling Vigiriego Brut. The guided visit tours the winery and ends with a tasting of wines and local cured meats.
